Ann Arbor SCORE was founded in 2000 as Chapter 655. We are an active chapter and have more than 40 volunteer professionals. The counselors of Ann Arbor SCORE are experienced business owners and managers who volunteer their experience and knowledge to help potential and existing small business owners achieve success.

Client service is the objective of Ann Arbor SCORE and our volunteer business counselors are dedicated to providing the best possible service. Face-to-face or online, the counselors of Ann Arbor SCORE are able and willing to aid in the success of small business. SCORE counselors provide you with in-depth, industry-specific business assistance to help evaluate a business idea or plan, stimulate business growth and ensure long-term stability.

SCORE's mission is to provide resources and expertise to maximize the success of existing and emerging small businesses.

Ann Arbor Area SCORE is supported by funding through the Small Business Administration and local Chambers of Commerce.  SCORE counselors are all volunteers, so we can provide our services without charge.  You may use our services as often as you like.  We will never ask for a fee.

SCORE counselors subscribe to a code of ethics that commits them to protect the confidentiality of business information provided by clients at all times.  No disclosure will be made of any information, or of the existence of a counseling relationship, without the client's prior approval.
